About
I recently completed my M.Ed. in Human Development and Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education. I freelance writing book reviews for Kirkus Reviews. I am a licensed elementary school teacher and have taught ages 3-80 in Mexico, Belgium, Japan, and the US. I believe in creating books for children, vetted by children.

I am interested in the process of learning, what makes something funny, social and emotional development, creating better environments for neurodivergent learners, and children's mental health. My four incredible children inspire my writing and creativity and never let me take a calm moment for granted. We have a dog, a Russian tortoise, and a Saharan Uromastyx lizard, adding to the chaos of our home.

I have published in The Belmont Voice and Exponent II, and I have poems that are currently being exhibited in the Belmont Gallery of Art for the summer.
